Commemorating 70 years of Indian Independence the school witnessed a grand celebration of this freedom on 16 August 2016. The chief guest of the function was Mr. M V Georgekutty, Principal of St. George College Aruvithura. Various competitions like mime, tableau, essay writing and national anthem were also conducted in regard with this pious day.
